Care and Maintenance of timber, cork, parquetry and floating floors:

1. As with any quality floor, regular maintenance will keep your floor looking beautiful and assure its longevity, even under heavy use.

2. Cleaning - Keep the floor surface free of dirt and grit through regular sweeping - using a static control dust mop.  When mopping - use a WELL wrung out damp mop. Clean up spills and excess water immediately. Never flood the floor surface with any liquid or use harsh abrasive cleaners.

3. Furniture rests are recommended to prevent indentations in the cork floors and soft timber floors.

4. Entrance mats are recommended in order to keep dirt and moisture from coming in contact with the floor. Do not allow a moisture saturated floor mat to remain on the floor.

5. If you floor is appearing worn, timber, cork, parquetry and some floating floors may be refinished. Please contact Wood'n Floors for further information on having your floor refinished.
